Letter
Dear Editor,
I’m writing
to express my concern about and advert which appeared on page 57 of your
magazine last week. I think it could be confused to some people, because the
magazine seems to be aimed at common people and the text is unclear to the
society, you have to verify the writings and articles that your magazine
publish in accordance to your audience.
I
read your article but I think your
writers can write for the
audience that you are aiming; sometimes a text with
unknown words is difficult to the comprehension of the reader. I suggest using of conventional words in
order to make yourself understood.
In the other
hand I want to congratulate you for the courage to start a publication of bioethics,
plan and
produce a magazine Bioethics for
Latin America, is a great responsibility, so you
have my admiration for the courage that you maintained until this magazine was
published for the first time.
Yours
faithfully
Itzel del Carmen

Interview Report
I asked for an interview to Isbeth.
She has attitudes that caracterizes a good person, she said that her strengths are that she is punctual, she respects people and she studies a lot; her weakness is that she is a little bit lazy, I consider that this is contradictory because she said that she studies a lot but a the same time she is "lazy". I asked her about how her friends discribe her, she thinks that they would discribe her like a crazy person, and maybe that she is a good student even when she sometimes don't go to class. In the future she wants to be a teacher for children, she works well in a team but she prefers to work by herself. Her greatest achivement is that is is studying in the faculty of languages right now. She expects to herself the carrer finished, a good job, living by herself,
My impression about her is that she is a good student, she learns easily and I think she will be a dedicated teacher. She will be a good candidate to work at any school she wants.

Day of the dead
The altars in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec are performed three consecutive years after the death of a loved one, altars usually have between 10 and 15 steps and most of the time have the height of the house.
The altars are part of the current culture. This tradition came with the Spanish and merged with the custom of the Zapotecs.
We can see to women who dress regional custom of mourning.
Language
Zapotec has changed through the years, there are variations in pitch as broad in the region, but it is understandable for speakers of Isthmus. The language persists in adult pesonas, it's a shame that youth does not show interest in learning this dialect, as it is a heritage of our ancestors invalueble that identify us as Zapotec.people continue modifying it because of the influence and the constant contact with the Spanish, currently great sound changes are noticed.
