Among Mexican costumes, and the costums of the state of Oaxca, one of the best known is certainly the women of the Zapotec ethnic group.
Regional costume: The regional costume of 'tehuana' is composed of two parts, the blouse called huipil and the skirt. Both pieces are embroidered and the general theme is flowers of different colors, the cloth on which is embroidered can be satin, velvet or both. Tehuana costume has slight local varieties, it can have differences in design because of location. In the head they can use an accessory called 'resplandor', it could be of different colors is has an hard olan that is placed above the forehead, but many times they use just a braid with a ribbon with the color that they choose.
