Velas

Village festivals are celebrated in the months of April and May each year, these are celebrated during a week, they are called 'Vela' (party that is organized in honor of a saint or a virgin village.) When people that are invited arrive to these or any kind of celebrations (weddings, birthdays, anniversaries) tend to give a cooperation to the organizers, in this manner the cost of the celebrations is less for them; in return they receive a dish with snacks, soda or alcoholic beverage.
